Le Dîner en Blanc – Ho Chi Minh City 2018 - Looking for New Team Candidates to Hosts and/or Co-Host

Le Dîner en Blanc is more than a simple picnic. It is a spontaneous movement founded on values like friendship, elegance, heritage, respect and secrecy... There are no commercial objectives, political affiliations, or charitable associations. For one night, guests enhance their city’s most prestigious public spaces by participating in the unexpected. Originated in Paris back in 1988, Le Dîner en Blanc is now annually held in over 70 cities around the globe, becoming one of these iconic cities’ events supported by local authorities and tourist boards.

Le Dîner en Blanc – Ho Chi Minh City held its first event in 2015 with guests gathered at Thao Cam Vien – Botanical Garden & Zoo to experience this unique concept. Once a year, there is only one Dîner en Blanc - Ho Chi Minh City.  And, here is a chance to become a creator of this unique event.

For the event to continue, Dîner en Blanc International is now looking for candidates with extensive experience in 2 or more of the following fields: large-scale event management and production, volunteer management, software use, sales & sponsorships, Media (PR) Relations and social media. Preferable, candidates will have extensive relationships with government agencies, contacts in emblematic venues, and/or contacts for sponsorships & alliances.

Notes to the interested organizers:

  1. Experience in organizing large scale events (1,000 people or more) and in dealing with alcohol and venue permits. We are looking for a team of 3 people who have the experience in managing large scale events and who have dealt with alcohol and venue permits.
  2. All communications with Dîner en Blanc International will be in French or English.
  3. Dîner en Blanc International does not produce the events. We offer a support service and training to organizers wishing to host their own Dîner en Blanc. Profits and expenditures of hosting the event are independent of Dîner en Blanc International Inc. Event production guidelines, support, training and guidance are given to the local host team. The selected members must be ready to follow the standards and values that are conveyed in hosting Le Dîner en Blanc.
  4. It is important to understand that we don’t hire any organizers. Events are headed by passionate, local people who are in love with their city and the concept. Each event is financially independent from Dîner en Blanc International Inc.
  5. Le Dîner en Blanc cannot be associated with any charitable or political causes.
